NEW Seven Unit Course in Geomancy begins, September 2008!
North American School of Geomancy with Ana and Marko Pogacnik
This two-and-a-half year program is a teaching on geomancy and personal growth composed of seven units. Attendance at all units is vital to complete the program and develop the inner skills necessary to practice this art.
Ana and Marko Pogacnik have, during the last 15 years, developed an original approach to geomancy, where working with vital forces, elemental beings, and spiritual centers of the landscape is linked to the awakening of the personal sensitivity and inner evolution of the participants. As a result, participants have the possibility to find their own way in perceiving and interpreting phenomena within and around them without being attached to a certain technique or belief system. The basis of the teaching is a holistic way of perception that includes body, mind and heart, coupled with the freedom of loving the Earth and Universe.
Each program will be held in different places across the country (participants will give suggestions on places to work in and will help in arranging events). The first unit will be held at The Roundhouse, a retreat center at Colrain, MA.
The units will be as follows:
1. Unit: September 11 - 14, 2008
Inner Perception, Angelic Presence
with Ana Pogacnik
There will be two components, which will flow parallel to each other:
The first one is the discovering of our own tools for perception and also the barriers that are preventing us from staying continuously in inner communication with our selves, with the landscape and with the other dimensions and worlds. One such world is the angelic world, the “angelic ocean”, and this will be the second subject of this unit. We will learn about the angelic presence in us and how it manifests in the landscape. Through different exercises we will experience how we can find such places in the landscape and get to know how we can work closely with this kind of energy.
2. Unit: March 19 - 22, 2009
Multidimensionality of a Place
With Marko Pogacnik
Each place is composed of many layers of reality. The purpose of the workshop is to experience those different dimensions, first of all the vital energies and power centers of the given place, then the sphere of elemental beings/nature spirits and, finally, the spiritual dimension of the landscape temple. Corresponding exercises of perception will be taught. The students will get to know possibilities to translate the language of landscape into logical terms of human thought system.
3. Unit: July 16 - 19, 2009
Vital Energy Systems I
With Ana Pogacnik
We will start to discover the vital-energy level of the landscape, which we can compare with our chakra system and meridians of our body. Through different exercises we will get to know different qualities und energies of the landscape and the organs of the Earth. And through this deep contact, we will be mirroring our self in different aspects of the landscape and, in this way, be discovering our own inner landscape. We will also get to know various techniques of how to work with the landscape and places. In that way we will bring into movement not only the blockages and the qualities of the outer but also of the inner landscape. There will be a possibility given, to practice and discover geomantic phenomena also at home in the time between the units and to stay in contact (per E-Mail or post) with Ana. In this way, it will be possible to get a reflection and help from her.
4. Unit: October 22 – 25, 2009
Language of the Cosmogrammes
With Marko Pogacnik
This course offers experiences of different forms of universal language, but focuses then on cosmogrammes as practical possibility to convey a visual message to beings of nature or consciousness of a given place. Different places in the vicinity of the chosen place will be explored and experienced. Participants than will use different tools to do geomantic healing work there. One of them would be to create a cosmogramme for certain aspects of the chosen place, to meet a specific need of that place. Drawing will be practiced as a tool for this purpose. The capacity learned can be used later while working with other places, or while taking care for one's own place.
5. Unit: March, 2010
Vital Energy Systems II
With Ana Pogacnik
We will continue with discovering the vital-energy level of the landscape, which we’ve started already in the 3rd Unit (Vital Energy Systems I). With different exercises we will get to know different qualities und energies of the landscape and the organs of the Earth, that we can compare with our chakra system and meridians of our body. Through this deep contact with places and qualities, we will be mirroring our self in different aspects of the landscape and, in this way discovering our own inner landscape. We will continue also with inner work and observe the inner patterns, that are holding us back and unable us to be fully present in our life. Through being together in the group in the landscape we will experience different techniques how to work with the landscape and places.
6. Unit: July 2010
Decoding the Totality of a Given Place
With Ana Pogacnik
In this unit we will accede to the place as a concluded integrity. We will discover its different levels and aspects and search for its primeval power and also its weaknesses and imprinted patterns. Through this research work we will touch the essence of the place and unknot its riddle and in this way we will come nearer to its deepest truth. Through the work with the different places, energies and aspects in the landscape, we will also touch our own primeval power and essence and get to know better our deepest inner truth. We will also continue with the work with the inner vision of our life and look how we can bring it even more into reality and in that way to be able to live it already today.
7. CONCLUDING WORK: October 2010
A Geopuncture Stone Circle
With Marko and Marika Pogacnik
As conclusion of the study, if a suitable site has been found, the group will create togetherwith Marko and his wife Marika Pogacnik a Geopuncture stone circle on a place that will be selected later. Participants will be taught to carve cosmogrammes. During the preparation process they will create a cosmogramme for the given place and then carve it into stone. The circle will stand permanently as a contribution of the group to the Earth transformation process.
