2009 Letter from Marko Pogacnik

Dear friends,

Ten years have now passed since I began observing the ongoing Earth Changes from the geomantic and personal point of view. What an interesting journey! During this time I tried hard to discover and understand the thread along which the process is evolving. However, my attitude has changed over the course of the last year. I now no longer feel any pressure to interact with the Changes. Rather, I believe that there is a need to communicate to the wider public the changes that are going on within the Earth Cosmos. We need to transform the negative view that climate change will destroy life upon the planet so that the positive aspects of this unique process can be perceived.

We are all aware that a worldwide ecological (and financial) breakdown may be at hand. However, our great challenge is to explain to our culture that a collapse of our ecological and social systems is not inevitable, but on the contrary, that this crisis is an opportunity to participate in a positive transformation of consciousness. This transition involves (indeed, it requires) a change in focus from an exclusively rational and material perspective to recognition of the subtle and spiritual levels of existence that embrace and unify all dimensions of our life on Earth. Holding on to a negative concept of the current Earth Changes does not allow us to take part in the positive aspect of the transition from one level of existence to another. I am now working on a new book (in German) relating to this theme. I am drawing the stories of about 67 of my dreams relating to Earth Changes (that I have received during the last decade) in the form of “comics.” Each story is accompanied by a commentary and an exercise.

The past year was a creative one! In addition to the geopuncture circle at Foxhollow Farm (thank you Janey and Brian for this wonderful opportunity), we built three more geopuncture circles in 2008. Some of you have seen the ”Hologram of Europe” in Ljubljana, constructed in May. In August, with my daughter Ana and Jan (from Prague), we created a second stone circle with cosmogrammes on the grounds of the Botanical gardens in Prague, with the title “The Crown of Czeckia.” A group of us also gathered in November on Fuerteventura (in the Canary Islands) to build a geopuncture circle called “Atlantis,” relating to the space of the Atlantic Ocean and its archetypal level called Atlantis.

In August 2008 we created another lithopuncture system in the English speaking world. We carved a lithopuncture system for Hawkwood College at Stroud with friends who are participating in the courses of education in Great Britain led by my daughter Ajra and me.We were also busy publishing books with Gene Gollogly and his colleagues at Steiner Books. “Venice: Discovering a Hidden Pathway,” an earlier book that I wrote in 1986 (and that I thought was lost forever) was reprinted at Lindisfarne with hundred of Photos by Bojan Brecelj (whom you know from Lendava). We also published “Sacred Geography” for English readers and for our school of Geomancy (thank you Leslie for editing it!). Finally, I contributed a chapter to the volume “The Inner Life of the Earth – Exploring the Mysteries of Nature, Subnature and Supranature,” published by Steiner Books.

An overview of 2008 would not be complete without mentioning the congress of our LifeNet (Lebensnetz, VITAAA) network that was held at Lendava, Slovenia. About 150 collaborators from different countries and continents came together, to meet each other in person, to develop visions for our future creativity and collaborations, and to dance together to the wild rhythms of a local gypsy band. Thanks to the group of about 13 American friends who made the effort to come to the most distant town in Slovenia, at the border to Hungary.

In 2009 my daughter Ana and I will continue to work with participants in our second education class on Geomancy and Personal Transformation. Within this framework, our North American School of Geomancy, I will come to the USA twice in 2009. (Members of the first class, whose two-year course culminated in the Foxhollow project, will meet with Ana in Sedona in March to continue their work and learning.) In addition to working with the Geomancy class, I will be speaking at the Steiner Books annual conference in New York during the weekend of March 13th-15th. (See www.steinerbooks.org)

Another English-speaking workshop is being organized by Sabine Engelhart, from Earth Energy Network (you know her from Lendava), in England from May 14th--17th. It is titled The Sacred Sites of Wessex – Rebirth, Regeneration and Evolution. We will be allowed to enter the inner space of Stonehenge, which is now closed to the general public! For information, contact info@earthenergynetwork.co.uk and www.earthenergynetwork.co.uk.

In 2009 my other activities and time will be distributed among other countries of Europe, including Russia. In between I hope to have enough time to breathe!I hope to see you in 2009! Blessings upon a New Year given to us as a gift to enjoy the beauties and challenges of living upon Earth at this unique time!

2009 Letter from Ana Pogacnik

Dear Friends,

The intensive program of this past year is over, and slowly I’m realizing the many gifts I received through many new contacts, connections and comprehensions, on all different levels. It was a very moving year and I’m very thankful for these 365 days that were fulfilled with many unforgettable moments.

We are now experiencing a very intense time in our development. Although the future seems to be very uncertain — the economy stands on very weak feet, dire financial crises become more and more visible, fear is more and more present all around us — my feeling is that we are coming closer to kind of a turnabout. I often have the feeling that the world is shaking. It is not an earthquake on the physical level, but that the larger world is shaking.

Maybe the feeling that the world is breaking down is not as tragic as it seems to us at this moment — because it is in this way that the old structures, systems and notions fracture. Sometimes the momentary situation reminds me of very serious illnesses that occur on a personal level. Often people prepare to live their life differently after an experience of death — they have to nearly leave and lose life to be ready to live life…. Through this experience they become aware once again what life means, what is really important in life to them, what their role is, and what they really want as a being, as soul.

Perhaps we are standing in a similar situation as humanity. Maybe we are not ready to just let go and we need a kind of a breakdown to be able to start a new beginning. We cannot enter the new multi-dimensional world that is already unfolding within the Earth’s with old structures and patterns. Perhaps we need to let go of the physical level so we can enter it anew. Maybe we need the “earthquake” and the shock” to become aware again of the real importance of life and why we are on this wonderful planet. Maybe we need to experience loss so we can remember the real values again and therefore be able to focus on them.

Although the process probably won’t be easy and pleasant, I feel that my deepest being is celebrating this “falling apart” of the world of illusions, because the world of visions is being liberated in that way.

I’m devoting my time to these changes, observing them with great interest and trying to support them with my work as much as possible. I believe that the decision about how we will navigate this passage is in our hands — and that we are all equally involved in this decision. I’m an optimist and will continue to be so.

I can experience and follow these processes at work most intensely in closed groups, which is why educational programs are continuing as my main focus in the coming year.

In addition to the five existing groups in Germany, I am starting a new one this year. I’m very happy that I will be able to continue work with the first North American geomancy group and look forward to exploring Sedona together with them. The first unit with the new (second) North American geomancy class this past fall was a great experience, so I’m looking forward to continuing to teach and learn more with them in 2009 I will also continue the intensive work with the group in Toronto. In addition to the closed groups, I will also have some weekend seminars in the United States — in Buffalo in June and Los Angeles and San Francisco (Alcatraz) in October. These seminars always give me the opportunity to meet new people.

With all the traveling, seminars, teaching and organizing involved, there is not much time left for writing — but nevertheless I have started to work on a new book in German. I hope that it will be finished before long and one day translated into English.

In deep thankfulness for the past year and great openness for the coming year, I send you deep regards from my heart and wish you a rich and peaceful year —

Ana

“Beloved Earth, help me to see the light, help me to reach the stars, to discover the sun and the world, to comprehend love and to understand life…
Beloved Earth, I’m ready to look in the mirror and I wish to recognize myself in you…
Beloved Earth, lead me to the inner Light of the stars, show me the sun that illuminates the inner world. Please bring me again home—back to myself.”
