A 2008 message from Ana Pogacnik! Dear Friends, Every year, when I write such letters, I realize that I do my work with even more joy and from even deeper inner belief. At the moment I can say, I devote my life totally to the work with people and the Earth. If my heart would not totally beat for my work, I probably would not stand my intense schedule  – I’m nearly each weekend working somewhere with a group. There are every year more educational groups (in Europe, USA and Canada), which will be also in the coming year my main focus of the work. I’m so thankful for the deep experiences in the groups, with the groups in the landscape and through the groups with the landscape.

It is a precious gift to work with people who are so devoted, which I do not take for granted. I would like to thank all of the people that are taking part in this wonder. I’m so glad to see, that the interest for the Landscape and the Earth is increasing and that more and more people are becoming aware, that we, as human beings, cannot walk this way, without including the Earth in our processes.

It seems now that we hear so much about climate, about climate changes, about climate catastrophes etc. On one hand I’m glad about it, because finally this subject is of interest for a broader public, but on the other hand it makes me so sad, because I realize how shallow the Earth is still observed and how fast this subject is misused for personal purposes. The Earth is often spoken of as a machine, which is urgently in need of repair if it is to be able to continue to serve us. The endless power, creativity, love, and potential of the Earth are still not seen and the Earth as a being is still ignored.

Instead of looking inwardly to honestly ask ourselves, “what is this critical state of the Earth’s Being mirroring, personally, for each of us”, we try “to repair and control” the Earth even more. I think that the only way for us to come safely through this tense and challenging situation, is to experience a change of our consciousness. We cannot continue in this way…
The necessary change cannot start by worrying about the climate or developing new ecological technology etc., but with the expanding and changing of our consciousness. Without this change we will namely not be mature enough to understand and use new technology, progressive science, ecological machinery etc.

I experience the present period of the Earth changes as very intense and in that way partly, also straining and most of all I have the feeling, that we are very strongly challenged: to more and more be, who we really are. The masks and the untruths are losing their power. The Earth is further on in a very intensive process of change and so we, as one part of the Earth, should be ready to change as well.

Actually I do not think, that it is enough anymore to connect with the Earth and the Cosmos and to see oneself as a part of them both. I think, that it is all about being aware that we are the Earth and the Cosmos – with our body and our soul WE ARE THE EARTH AND THE COSMOS. If we manage to hold and to be in this consciousness, our point of view will shift automatically and through this also our attitude and relation to the Earth, to the landscape, to the places where we live and work. We will not observe them anymore from outside, but we will experience them from within. With my work I’m trying to follow and support these deep inner processes in ourselves and in the landscape.

2008 Letter from Marko Pogacnik Dear friends! Since we did not see each other after the course in Atlanta, you might wonder, what happened to me during the following months. Indeed, a very distinctive aspect of geomantic work attracted my attention in May 2007. I was about to start a 10-days travel with a full bus through the Heart chakra field of Europe, that extends between Cologne and Externsteine (a megalithic site west of Hanover). Before we started, I had a public lecture in Cologne, concerning the (pilgrimage) travel to be started next morning.

During the talk I was moving freely through the centre of the hall, that has seats at both sides of the scene. I just told about my visit of a place, earlier that morning, from where I could perceive the gigantic ball of what I consider to be the Heart centre of our continent, positioned in the depth of the Earth. To my sadness, I saw it motionless and petrified.

In the moment, I spoke it out, the floor under my feet swell like a belly of a pregnant woman. The audience could see me with the microphone in my hand, how I started to crumble, gesticulating widely, trying to find my balance at the top of the perfect rounded ball. People couldn’t understand what was going on, since nothing changed at the physical level. But I felt it right physically and knew: it was the reply of the Earth soul, correcting me instantly: “Yes, but I am ready to awake”.

Some other inconveniences had to happen to me, till I understood that the time has come, when Gea, the Earth Soul wants “personally” to intervene within the critical situation upon the planet’s surface. We have a lot of work to do, to help it happen. We need to recognise the language of the soul, the way it expresses through the landscape and through life situations; finally the way it works within us, human beings.The first practical steps in this direction were done during my workshop in the city of Rome at the end of July 2007. I found out that different parts of the city, and corresponding buildings, are embodying three different aspects of the Earth Soul presence:

• The elemental aspect of the soul, dealing with the archetypal (sexual) forces of the Earth that are enhancing life streams at the Earth surface.
• The spiritual aspect of the Earth Soul that communicates with the universal Soul bringing its blessings down to the Earth,
• Mediating between the two aspects is the Heart aspect of the Earth soul that is capable of connecting Heaven and Earth and that knows to love all expressions of life upon the Earth surface.
